The PowerPoint Image Template serves to assist in the standardization of the design and size of images for the course/program listings in the Catalog professional development platform.

To use the template:

  • Right-click on the demo slide and select “Duplicate slide”.

  • On the copied slide, replace the “Demo Course” text with the title of your listing in Catalog.

  • To change the icon (image):
    • Right-click on the image and select “Change Graphic”, then choose “From icons…

  • A menu of stock icons will display. Select the desired icon from the options and click “Insert”.

Once you have updated the text and icon, the next step is to save the file as an image.

  • At the far left-hand side of the ribbon toolbar, click on "File".

  • Choose "Save a Copy".

  • Rename the file according to the Catalog listing title. Then switch the file type: 1) click on the file type, 2) select "JPEG".

  • Click "Save".

  • On the "Which slides do you want to export?" pop-up, select "Just This One".

Your image will be saved for use on your Catalog Listing.

Follow these same steps using the Image Template for CANVAS Dashboard Cards (Non-OTC Courses) to create matching images for the associated course in Canvas.
