The Virtual Backpack is a course available to all first-time online students that is designed to provide students with the foundation and tools necessary to succeed in their online courses. The Virtual Backpack is composed of different modules consisting of various topics such as installing the Respondus Lockdown Browser, communicating with your instructor and classmates in your online course, submitting assignments, and much more. The Virtual Backpack typically takes about an hour to complete; however, students can work on the modules at their own pace. Once completed, students will have gained valuable information regarding taking online courses, what to expect from online courses, and how to excel in their online courses.
